3D Cartoon Arts & Craft
10 a.m.–11 a.m.
In this special Family Fun Day session, Sheridan alumnus and cartoonist Mike Cope will share some different ways that you can create 3D cartoon art that literally pops off the page! The arts and craft activities that Mike demonstrates can be used as inspiration for homemade gift ideas that young and old can appreciate and will enjoy creating.
Materials required: Blank paper, pencils, scissors, cardboard/cardstock, clear tape or glue, and your imagination.

More about Emma Rudy (Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance ‘17)
Emma is an actor, singer, dancer originally from Stratford, Ontario. She is a proud graduate of Sheridan’s Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance (Class of 2017), and has been working professionally since. Some of her recent credits include Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables at The Charlottetown Festival, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Belle in Beauty and the Beast at Capitol Theatre, and Marty in Grease at the Wintergarden Theatre in Toronto. She has also performed in shows at Drayton Entertainment, The Grand Theatre London and others. With theatres closing down due to the pandemic, Emma revived and refined her passion for baking (an activity she loved to share with her father growing up) and began a small cookie business over the holidays. Thank you to Sheridan College for supporting your alumni in all their endeavours!
Virtual Escape Room
12 p.m.–1 p.m.
Wherever you are in the world, your family will embark on a virtual journey to escape the room. You will be tried, tested and racing against the clock. Will you be able to solve the riddles and puzzles before the opposing families?
You have been trapped in the estate of Mr. Pennyworth and are being framed for his murder. Decipher the puzzles, find hidden messages, and solve the mystery. Good luck.
