International Work Study Program

The International Work Study Program supports part-time and full-time Sheridan student positions for eligible international students. International students can work for a Sheridan employer if their study permit lists a condition that confirms employment eligibility. Students must apply for the Work Study Program each semester and may be approved for one Sheridan employer.

Students should reach out to their international student advisor if they have any questions about their work authorization.

International students may also make an appointment to speak with an international student immigration advisor to learn more about their work authorization and to get answers to questions relating to their immigration status and working in Canada.

The Financial Aid & Awards Office offers two Work Study options:

  • Part-time employment
  • Full-time employment
