Math Equivalency Tests
Students who apply to Sheridan’s certificate and diploma programs who do not have the required secondary school credentials for admission into the program, must demonstrate their ability to work at the postsecondary level by completing an equivalency test.

| Business Math Test* | 50 multiple choice questions: short answer – includes multiplication, decimals, fractions expressed as percentages, calculation of percentages, exponents. | 1 hour |
| Math Level 3 Part A Test* | Short answer – includes adding, subtracting, division, order of operations, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, formula rearranging. | 30 minutes |
* Calculators are not allowed.
