Christopher M. Drohan


Dr. Christopher M. Drohan is currently an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Sheridan College, a Faculty Associate in the Philosophy Department at Arizona State University, and an Adjunct Professor for Maricopa Colleges. His is the author of Deleuze and the Sign (Atropos Press, 2009), a concise introduction to Deleuze’s semiotics. In addition, he has published numerous journal articles and book chapters on philosophy and mass media, including: "The Virtual Classroom" in Deleuze and Education (Edinburgh University Press, 2012); "To Imagine Spinoza: Deleuze and the Materiality of the Sign" (The Philosophical Forum); and "The Search for Strange Worlds: Deleuzian Semiotics and Proust" in Beckett's Proust/ Deleuze's Proust (Palgrave/Macmillan Press, 2009). Drohan is also the General Secretary and Webmaster for the Toronto Semiotic Circle, Victoria College. He currently resides somewhere between Phoenix and Toronto.
