In Conversation with Amanda Parris – A Black History Month Event

This event will feature Parris in conversation about creativity as social activism, using as the basis for the discussion her 2019 Governor General’s Award-winning play Other Side of the Game, which “turns the spotlight on the Black women who organize communities, support their incarcerated loved ones, and battle institutions, living each day by a ride-or-die philosophy, strengthening their voices and demanding to be heard.”

Beghetto

We are very excited to welcome Dr. Ronald Beghetto, the renowned creativity scholar and expert on creative thought and action in educational settings.

Tuesday, 25 February 2020 (2:30 PM – 4:00 PM) | Sheridan College (Conference Centre) – Trafalgar Campus
In this talk, Dr. Beghetto will explore how experiences of uncertainty can be used in teaching, learning and everyday life as a means for promoting creative expression.
