Jeffrey Corey

Prior to his arrival at Sheridan, Jeff served for 30 years with the Halton Regional Police Service. During his career he was a member of the Tactical Rescue Unit, a Use of Force Instructor, Media Relations Officer, and as a Detective served the Robbery, Person’s and Intelligence investigations portfolios. He has served in Command roles with the Community Policing, Professional Standards and Regional Intelligence and Drug Bureaus and was the Halton Operational Commander that planned & delivered security to the 2015 Pan/Parapan Am Games. Jeff was a 10 year member of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) and during this tenure served as a member and Chair of the OACP Youth Committee. Jeff also worked with the Canadian Bankers Association where he developed policy and programs impacting business continuity and risk management within the Canadian Banking sector.

Jeff holds a BA in Economics from McMaster University, and both a Diploma and Masters in Public Administration from the University of Western Ontario.

Jeff has served as the Chair of the Halton Region Employees United Way Committee, coached football and soccer in the Oakville community, and served for over ten years on a volunteer board of directors for a local community mental health organization.
