mobile navigation An academic strike continues to be in effect at all Ontario Colleges, including Sheridan,  however we are hopeful that the back-to-work legislation will be passed and finalized by Sunday, November 19. Should the legislation pass by November 19, we anticipate welcoming our faculty back to Sheridan on Monday, November 20 to prepare for students to return to classes on Tuesday, November 21. Technology Fundamentals

Where to start?

The Sheridan Technology Fundamentals Program, although not an apprenticeship program, is ideal for you if you're interested in science and technology, but are uncertain specifically which area is a fit for your future academic and career goals, or if you don't meet the entrance requirements for technology diploma programs. The program focuses on four cluster areas – chemical, mechanical, information technology and trades – with intensive use of experiments, projects, demonstrations and field trips. Successful completion of this program will prepare you for the challenges of technology or trades programs. Several of these college courses are transferable to technology diploma programs at Sheridan and may be accepted at other colleges as well.
