Expanding Our Mississauga Campus

Construction of a new building at the Hazel McCallion Campus began in the Fall of 2014, and the majority of the work is now complete.

About the Project

Expansion of Sheridan's Hazel McCallion Campus (HMC) began in the Fall of 2014 and the majority of the work is now complete.

The campus opened in September 2011 with a 155,000-square-foot facility accommodating 2,300 students enrolled primarily in business programs. HMC also offers a range of language training and employment preparation programs for newcomers to Canada.

HMC is located in the Mississauga city centre at the corner of Duke of York Boulevard and Prince of Wales Drive, across from Square One.

The expansion project will result in a new facility on the same site, housing state-of-the-art classrooms, studios, labs and production spaces, a Centre for Creative Thinking, and a gallery space to showcase students’ creativity and innovation. The new space will accommodate an additional 3,200 full-time students for a total enrollment of approximately 5,500.
