About Theatre Sheridan

For more than 50 years, Theatre Sheridan has played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of some of Canada's most talented performers and theatre technicians.

Students in Sheridan's Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance and Technical Production for the Performing Arts Industry programs collaborate and put their skillsets to work under the expert guidance of industry professionals who teach acting, singing, dancing, choreography, lighting, set design and more.

Over the past five decades, Theatre Sheridan has earned a reputation for excellence in nurturing and showcasing the talents of aspiring theatre artists.

Theatre Sheridan presents four full-scale musicals each year, along with new works-in-development and student showcases.

Theatre Sheridan is proud to continue its legacy of developing new musicals. Past productions developed at Sheridan include the Broadway hit Come From Away and the incredibly popular The Theory of Relativity.

“Our amazing students learn and work alongside some of the most distinguished and talented faculty and creatives in the industry…and it is thrilling to pick up a playbill and see our alumni working across Canada and internationally.”
