Sheridan College Board of Governors Chair Mary E. Hofstetter, C.M. announced today that Rajan Sandhu, Vice President, Strategy, Global Engagement and General Counsel, will become Interim President and Vice Chancellor of Sheridan College. Mr. Sandhu will assume this role effective June 16, 2025, to ensure a smooth transition while Dr. Janet Morrison wraps up her commitments.

With more than nine years’ experience in successive leadership roles at Sheridan, Mr. Sandhu brings expertise in a wide range of responsibilities to his new role, ensuring leadership stability and continuity for the Sheridan community.

In the weeks ahead, Mr. Sandhu will work closely with Dr. Janet Morrison and the leadership team including Mary Vaughan, Provost and Vice President, Academic, and Alison Horton, Vice President, Administrative Services to manage an effective transition.

The Sheridan College Board of Governors will soon initiate a national search for the college’s ninth President and Vice Chancellor. The comprehensive process, which will involve the formation of a search committee, identification of an executive search partner, and community engagement, will ensure the college upholds its mission to deliver standard-setting education, foster a culture of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, and support the creative industries.
