Sheridan is offering a variety of events and workshops for National Youth Week from May 1-7, geared to inspire young people and recognize their potential in shaping a brighter future. Sheridan’s events will focus on career development, navigating job interviews and networking, and exploring the world of entrepreneurship. National Youth Week showcases youth, their achievements, and their commitment to our communities.

“Sheridan is thrilled to work with our local municipalities to support their endeavours to celebrate our youth and contribute to the plans for this year’s National Youth Week,” says Karen LeMoine, Sheridan’s Director, Community Engagement & Stakeholder Relations. “Our youth are an asset to our communities, and they have the potential to create meaningful change. Not only are they students, but also teachers, innovators, and leaders.”

Initiated in 2006, National Youth Week has inspired communities and organizations across the nation to ensure Canada continues to value the involvement of youth in all aspects of social recreation.

“Sheridan strives to be part of the local eco-system across Peel and Halton Regions to nurture the development of our young people,” says LeMoine.
