Sheridan is proud to present Ben Weinlick, social innovator and founder of Think Jar Collective, as the latest speaker in its Creative Campus Series.

About Ben Weinlick:

Ben Weinlick is deeply driven by the desire to help people and communities get better at navigating and solving complex challenges together.  Currently, Ben leads social innovation and R&D at Skills Society, which is one of the largest disability service organizations in Edmonton and has a long history of innovation related to rights, citizenship and community inclusion of marginalized populations.

Ben is also the founder of Think Jar Collective, a resource website for organizations on approaches to fostering purposeful innovation, as well as an action group of innovators in diverse sectors.

His work has been featured in the Stanford Social Innovation Review, and he has received numerous awards, including recognition in the Avenue Magazine Top 40 under 40.  In this mixed media talk, Ben will focus on how organizations can change patterns of thinking and acting to make progress on complex challenges of our times.

The Creative Campus Series was created to celebrate Sheridan’s commitment to creativity and innovation across disciplines.  Approximately six talks are planned each year, all of which are open to the Sheridan community and the general public.  This year’s series is sponsored by TD Bank.
