Information Technology fosters the spirit of innovation through technology and provides the resources and infrastructure to connect Sheridan students and staff to their goals.

IT services for Sheridan students and employees, including knowledge articles, customer support channels, and more, are available by logging into Service Sheridan with your Sheridan credentials.

IT news and details about IT Project Services, including Springboard, are featured in Sheridan Central, Sheridan’s online campus hub.

Email

Sheridan offers applicants, students, alumni, and staff comprehensive email and calendar tools powered by Microsoft Office 365.

Cloud Storage

Students and employees are automatically assigned a Sheridan Office 365 online account with access to the OneDrive service and are provided 1TB of online storage space per user.

Printing

Students and employees use their Sheridan onecard to access printing, copying and scanning services available through multifunction devices that can be found across the College.

Network Access

Sheridan offers secure wireless access points at all campuses, and in public spaces throughout the cities of Brampton and Mississauga, that provide mobile users with convenient and easy access to the campus network and the Internet.

Security

Sheridan is committed to providing users with a safe and secure computing environment that protects Sheridan's electronic resources and the privacy of individuals.

Software

Sheridan users can enjoy access to a variety of productivity and collaboration software, including free access to Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office 365.

Labs & Learning Spaces*

Students can take advantage of the open-access computer labs and study spaces found across Sheridan’s campuses, as well as reservable group study rooms for private collaborative work. Some Sheridan programs also feature specialized labs and equipment that are for the exclusive use of their students.

IT Information Sessions

Prior to the start of each academic semester, new Sheridan students can attend an IT Information Session. These one-hour, online sessions will offer practical information and live demos showing attendees how to access and set up many IT services, including: downloading software, setting up your Sheridan email and OneDrive, changing your password, and more.

IT Support Services

The IT Service Desk is the primary point of contact for incident reporting/resolution, requests for IT services and tech support. IT support specialists are available Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m.–10 p.m. EST.
