The Sheridan Elder Research Centre creates innovative strategies that improve the quality of life for older adults and their families through applied research. Check out our current opportunities to participate in research below.
Current Research Opportunities
SERC is conducting a needs assessment to determine the ways in which an online fitness website might best compel healthy, positive lifestyle changes in adults over the age of 50. We invite all adults, but especially those 50-70 years old, to complete this short survey and help us work towards the design of this website. At the end of the survey, you will have the option to enter your name in a draw for a free fitness DVD!

Many individuals provide non-medical assistance for adults 65+ who may be their family members, friends or neighbours. We are conducting a needs assessment to determine the ways in which an Internet-based network might benefit both support providers and support recipients.
