TRANSITION SESSIONS Sheridan is committed to providing access and accommodation to students with disabilities. We offer a wide range of services for students who have been formally identified or documented as having a disability. Services include, testing accommodation, alternative print material, peer mentoring and referrals for other services such as financial assistance. The support of a Learning Strategist and an Assistive Technologist are available for students.
To access services it is important to identify early with Accessible Learning Services at the campus you will be attending. In order for accommodations to be put in place for the start-up of classes, we ask that you complete and submit an Accessible Learning Services Intake Form along with documentation that verifies your disability. We also ask that you attend an Accessible Learning Services' Transition Session to obtain information about our services, ask questions and meet with staff and other students. Transition Sessions will be held on the dates listed below. Please call or email as soon as possible to reserve a seat at the session of your choice. At the end of each session, individual intake appointments will be scheduled to discuss your needs and required accommodations. Transition Sessions will be held on the following dates: STEPPING OUT
Two sessions (Trafalgar and Davis) at end of Winter Semester.
