Faculty Responsibilities

Encourage students with disabilities to identify themselves in an appropriate and confidential time and place

Maintain the student's rights regarding confidentiality at all times

Provide an inclusive and non-discriminatory learning environment for students with disabilities

When a student requests to write a test with Accessible Learning, faculty will complete their portion of the 'Testing Accommodation' form and submit to the Assessment Centre in a timely manner. * It is the student's responsibility to pick up the form, fill in the student's portion, and bring to the professor for completion

Cooperate with Accessible Learning in providing authorized academic accommodations and/or support services for the student in a fair and timely manner

Inform Accessible Learning of any disability-related issues/concerns
