Sheridan's Early Childhood program is offered through a variety of formats at both
campuses.
- Admission to the ECE program occurs in both September and January. The Academic year for students starting in September continues from September through April for 2 subsequent years – eight months of study each year. Applicants who start in January study continuously from January to the following April or 16 consecutive months of study.
- Students may study their ECE on a full time basis – through the School of Community and Liberal Studies OR part time basis – through the School of Continuing Education.
- All of these options are offered on both campuses – Trafalgar and Davis
- Students who have previously completed a university degree in a related field may be eligible to obtain the ECE diploma through the ECE Intensive program.
- The Early Childhood Centres at Sheridan operate as "demonstration centres" reflecting the philosophy and curriculum taught in Sheridan's Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Montessori Teacher Education programs, and thus providing a quality practicum experience for Sheridan's student teachers
