Open to all full-time BAHSc (AT) students currently enrolled in first year (not on academic probation). |
The scholarship is determined by program faculty review and based upon overall GPA in all core courses. |

First Responder |
Open to all full-time students currently enrolled in second year of the BAHSc (AT) program who are not on academic probation and who have completed the Emergency Conditions 1 course and are currently enrolled in Emergency Conditions 2. |
Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and a skill based resume. The letter should include a summary of applicant’s contributions to their field placement. The application will also include a letter of support from the applicant’s current field placement supervisor. |

Open to all full-time students currently enrolled in second year of the BAHSc (AT) program (not on academic probation) and who are returning to study in the field of Athletic Therapy. |

| Canada Basketball Team |
Open to all full-time students currently in third year of the BAHSc (AT) program (not on academic probation). |
Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and résumé. Potential applicants will be interviewed by the medical staff of the National Basketball Program. The successful applicant will be offered an opportunity for a domestic as well as an international training experience with the National Team. |

| Everet Van Beek Memorial Scholarship |
Open to all students currently enrolled in their third year of the BAHSc (AT) program. Students must not be on academic probation. |
The successful student will be required to submit a cover letter and résumé with an emphasis on citizenship and extra-curricular success.Their applications will be reviewed by faculty and a review of their academic performance will be included. Final faculty approval will be required to identify the successful candidate. |

Toronto Blue Jays Scholarship |
Open to third year students currently enrolled in the BAHSc (AT) program. Students not currently on academic probation are eligible. |
The potential candidate must submit a cover letter and résumé as application. The application will be reviewed by the medical staff of the Toronto Blue Jays. The successful candidate will be asked to assist the medical staff for all home games as well as assist in season set up. |
Monetary award and plaque will be offered while experience as part of the unit in professional sports |

Open to third year students currently enrolled in the BAHSc (Athletic Therapy) program. Students not currently on academic probation are eligible.

The philosophy of this award is to recognize a student who has demonstrated a dedicated commitment and interest in extra-curricular activities outside of school, exemplifies leadership qualities, strong interpersonal skills and character, both in and outside of the classroom and is dedicated to the profession of Athletic Therapy.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.

Open to all students currently enrolled in the BAHSc (AT) program and who are not on academic probation. |
The successful candidate will be nominated by their peers. A short list of nominees will be voted on by their peers. The successful candidate will be selected by the faculty based on the outcomes of the student vote. This award is offered to a student who excels in extracurricular activities as they pertain to the Athletic Therapy Program at Sheridan.

| National Ballet of Canada Scholarship |
Open to all full-time students currently enrolled in the fourth year of the BAHSc (AT) program and are not on academic probation. |
Applicants will submit a cover letter and resume highlighting their clinical experiences. An interview will be conducted by the medical team of the National Ballet of Canada to determine the successful candidate. The incumbent will assist in all aspects of rehabilitation and prevention of injuries associated with the professional dancers. |

| Michelle Kukta Memorial Scholarship |
Open to all full-time students currently enrolled in fourth year of the BAHSc (AT) program who are not on academic probation. |
This award is presented to the student who offers a significant commitment to their placement and has a positive influence on their classmates. The recipient will be nominated by their peers with a letter outlining the reasons why the individual is deserving of this scholarship. The faculty will review the nominations and select the recipient based on the nominee’s placement evaluations. |

| Trainer’s Choice Award for Innovation in Athletic Therapy |
Open to all full-time students currently in the fourth year of the BAHSc (AT) program and not on academic probation. |
This award recognizes a student who has demonstrated the ability to “think outside of the box” with respect to the profession of Athletic Therapy. This will be demonstrated via business or research ideas that have a plan of implementation or have already been implemented. A 2-page synopsis will be required as application. |

| The Anne Hartley Award of Excellence in Athletic Therapy |
Open to all full-time students currently in the fourth year of the BAHSc (AT) program and not on academic probation. **See Sheridan Awards and Bursaries page to download application; this award must first be sent to the Awards Office. A letter of application to the faculty is also required at time of submission.** |
The philosophy of this award is to recognize a student who shows the potential for a promising career in the field of Athletic Therapy. The recipient of this award must be a member in good standing with the CATA and their Regional Chapter with a minimum GPA of 3.0. They will have demonstrated a strong work ethic while maintaining a strong commitment to all aspects of the profession of Athletic Therapy. The scholarship is determined by program faculty review. |

| CATA Student Leadership Award |
Open to all full time students currently enrolled full-time in the BAHSc (AT) program and not on academic probation. Students must be members in good standing with the CATA and their Regional Chapter. Students will have demonstrated leadership qualities both within their Athletic Therapy academic environment as well as within the community setting. |
This award is given by the CATA Members Services Committee as an opportunity to give positive feedback to some of the great students and future leaders of the CATA. One Certification Candidate from each Accredited Institution will be selected annually. Applicants are required to submit a cover letter summarizing their leadership accomplishments both in the AT program and community, along with a resume highlighting leadership experience. Recipient selection will be determined by program faculty review of all applications. NOMINATIONS ARE WELCOME. |
Monetary award: credit will be applied to the Candidate’s CATA account the year immediately following the granting of the award. |
