Known throughout the entertainment industry as a leader in identifying and managing top talent, Deborah brings with her 14 years of experience in some of the foremost organizations in children’s entertainment.
Deborah is Vice President of Human Resources for Cookie Jar Entertainment Inc., a leading independent producer of children’s entertainment, consumer products and educational materials. Over the past six years, she has led several transitions of people and operations resulting from global acquisitions and contributed to building a successful company in a short period of time. Through her extensive knowledge of labour laws and best practices, she has hired and developed exceptional talent and built HR plans aligned with business needs. Prior to joining Cookie Jar, Deborah was the Recruiting Director for Corus Entertainment.
Deborah has completed the Executive Human Resources Program through Joseph L. Rotman, University of Toronto and has earned her CHRP designation. She also volunteers her time to Teletoon.
