Tanya joined Sheridan’s Police Foundations faculty team in 2007. Prior to accepting a full-time position at Sheridan, Tanya served as a police officer with Peel Regional Police for ten years. While policing, Tanya spent time in a variety of units including Uniform Patrol, Community Policing, Training and, the Use of Force Bureau.
Tanya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from York University, a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University, and a Master’s of Education from the University of Toronto. In addition, Tanya possesses a strong fitness background and has competed in Ironman Triathlons.
