Orientation is designed to assist you in your transition to Sheridan and prepare you for success. Please mark your calendar and plan to join us! What is Transition Well?

Transition Well is designed to help you learn about Sheridan, meet fellow students, find about more about your program, and complete important tasks to start your Sheridan journey.

Starting at Sheridan in Spring 2022?

We can’t wait for you to join us this Spring at Sheridan! To help you get ready to start, we’ve planned a lot of informative, fun, and interactive activities throughout the fall for you to join. Learn what it takes to be a successful student in the Succeeding @ Sheridan Workshops, meet new friends in the social drop-ins, find out where and how to access different resources in self-guided tutorials, and join Bruins Bootcamp and New Student Orientation to kick off your Sheridan experience. 

  • Check out Succeeding @ Sheridan: A guide for your first year. This guide walks you through everything you need to know and do from the time you accept your offer until the end of your first year. Follow along with helpful tips to support your academics, social wellbeing, and student life at Sheridan.

  • As part of your orientation experience, we host a variety of workshops on different topics designed to help you Transition Well to Sheridan. 

    Join the Succeeding @ Sheridan workshops to find out everything you need to know about joining the Sheridan community.

  • Want to meet other students starting at Sheridan this spring? Join us for a social drop-in. In these one-hour socials led by student leaders, you can connect with your future classmates! 

    Social drop-ins for students starting at Sheridan in Spring 2022 will be hosted this winter. Check back here for the drop-in schedule and registration information. 

    If you would like to meet one-on-one with an upper-year student, you can also sign up to meet with a Peer Mentor.

  • Starting at Sheridan Spring 2022? Join us at May 4-6 for your orientation events.

    Bruins Bootcamp (May 4) is a virtual event for all Sheridan students. At Bruins Bootcamp you can:

    • Win prizes
    • Find out how to get help with classes and connect with services
    • Learn more about how to make the most of your Sheridan life

    New Student Orientation (May 5-6) is where you learn about your program and get ready for day one. At orientation you can:

    • Connect with other students in your program
    • Hear about upper-year student experiences
    • Meet your professors
    • Discover everything you need to know about starting your new program

    You’re also invited to come to campus May 6 from 10 A.M.-2:30 P.M. to play games, win prizes, and connect with key Sheridan services and supports. Check back here for more information.
