Mechanical Engineering in the Spotlight at Open House and Showcase

Brampton, Ontario:  Students in the final term of the Mechanical Engineering Technology program at Sheridan will present their capstone projects at an Open House and Showcase on Monday, December 16 from 2 – 4 pm.  The event will take place in C131 and C175).

Sheridan's Mechanical Engineering Technology program provides comprehensive instruction in mechanical engineering design, research and development. Students work in Sheridan's sophisticated laboratory environment with the most current tools and techniques, doing project-oriented assignments that simulate the workplace responsibilities of mechanical engineering technicians.

This year’s showcase will feature a wide range of projects, including a solar heat concentrator, automated paper cutting machine, robotic arm, and vision-based conveyor control system, to name just a few.
