CIBC adds its support to the Get Creative fundraising campaign

CIBC has donated $50,000 to the Get Creative fundraising campaign, in support of Sheridan’s journey to become a university and provide more pathways for students to pursue their potential.

The expansion of pathways is an integral part of Sheridan’s journey to become a university. As a university, Sheridan will continue to offer a range of credentials from certificates to diplomas to degrees, with clear pathways for students to move between them. Additionally, Sheridan degree holders will be eligible to pursue graduate studies at other Ontario, national and international institutions.

“At Sheridan, we are committed to opening doors for diploma-level students who may have felt that a degree was out of reach,” says Dr. Jeff Zabudsky, President and Vice Chancellor. “CIBC’s generous contribution will help us continue our pathways development to ensure that students can attain their academic goals, at Sheridan and beyond.”

Sheridan currently has 17 diploma programs for which pathways have been identified for admission into at least year two of eight aligned degrees at the college. In addition, 35 of Sheridan’s diplomas/advanced diplomas provide pathways into 60 degree programs offered at other Ontario postsecondary institutions.
