Sheridan plays host to teams from coast to coast for National Soccer Championship

With representation from Prince Edward Island to Vancouver Island, the top eight collegiate men's soccer teams in the country will come together at Sheridan College's Trafalgar Campus in Oakville this week for the 2014 Sheridan Student Union Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men's Soccer National Championship. 

The tournament will play out over a period of four days, with the national quarter-final games scheduled for November 5, followed by semi-final play on November 6 and the title game on November 8.

Teams will also compete in the wrap-around bronze medal bracket on November 6 and 7. 

Daily admission is $5 with the exception of Saturday, November 8, when $10 will get you a seat in the recently renovated Sheridan Stadium for the bronze- and gold-medal games. 

Sheridan students (with ID) and children under 12 are free. 

Parking: Lot 7 at the Trafalgar Campus by the Athletic Complex will be closed from Tuesday, Nov. 4 to Friday, Nov. 7 as it will be used as paid event parking. 10 am - Bronze quarter-final 1

10am - Bronze semi final 1

12:30 pm - Bronze semi final 2 

 

Saturday, November 8 

9 am - 7/8 placement game (at River Oaks)

10 am - Bronze medal game 

11am - 5/6 placement game (at River Oaks)

1 pm - 2014 CCAA Men's Soccer National Championship game
