Sheridan's Centre for Elder Research is hosting its quarterly Business of Aging Global Network Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area meeting on Wednesday, October 25 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Trafalgar Road Campus in Oakville. This meeting will explore the economics of the arts, implications of shifting demographics for your business as well as the evidence of the health and well=being benefits of participating in the creative and performing arts. 

Guest speakers include Kelly Hill, Founder and President of Hill Strategies Research, Hamilton and neuropsychologist Dr. Kate Dupuis, Schlegel Innovation Leader, Centre for Elder Research at Sheridan. The presentation will be moderated by Ronni Rosenberg, Dean of the Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design at Sheridan. 

The presentations and discussion will be of interest to retirement homes and other direct service providers for older adults as well as arts organizations, supporters of the arts and artists.

The cost of the session is $20 if you register in advance or $25 for non-registered walk-ins. A light meal of hot and cold appetizers will be served before the presentation.
