Pause Magazine Launch Party

More than 25 Sheridan students, two faculty members, and 13 departments collaborated to create Pause., a postsecondary mental health magazine that aims to help amplify students’ voices at their campuses as they share real stories about what impacts them. This magazine provides deeper insight into themes that matter to young people, gets the postsecondary ecosystem involved in supporting the needs of its students and fosters a greater sense of community.

The project was born out of the Sheridan chapter of, a national mental health charity that provides mental health education, leadership training, and ongoing mentorship to 2,500 young leaders aged 15-24 across Canada.

Please join us for a fun evening of celebration where you will receive the first edition of Pause. magazine! Hear from some of the Sheridan community members involved in the creation of Pause., eat great food, have an opportunity to socialize, participate in a photobooth and enjoy free swag courtesy of

This is a free event, but there will be a cash donation box if you would like to support the cause. You can also provide online support through the donation page to help cover printing costs.
