Oomama invites you to a book launch event for Powered by Love - A Grandmothers' Movement to End AIDS in Africa on Thursday, October 19 from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Oakville Town Hall (1225 Trafalgar Road). 

Special guests include: 

Evelyne Bakenyaga, grandmother with Reach One Touch One Ministries (ROTOM) in Uganda, Kenneth E. Mugayehwenkyi, Founder and Executive Director of ROTOM in Uganda and Ilana Landsberg-Lewis, co-author of the book, Co-founder and Executive Director of the Stephen Lewis Foundation.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase ($35) at the event courtesy of A Different Drummer Books. All royalties from the sales of Powered by Love will be directed to the Stephen Lewis Foundation to support organizations run by and for African grandmothers who are raising children orphaned by AIDS.
