What to expect at Orientation

Starting at Sheridan in Winter 2020?

Orientation offers you the opportunity to:

  • – Connect with peers - new classmates and upper-year students
  • – Meet with an advisor to discuss your goals and personalize an action plan 
  • – Find out how to succeed in your first year at Sheridan 
  • – Get informed about student services and supports available on campus
  • – Learn and prepare for new academic expectations

New Student Orientation event details

Winter Academic Orientation is almost here!

During Orientation week, you will have a chance to get to know your faculty, peers, and campus! Your Academic Session will give you the chance to speak to your faculty, get to know important details about your program, and get to know other students in your program.  We highly recommend attending your academic session. 

 

Find your Academic Session date and time  by finding the program, listed by campus.  


Throughout Orientation we’ve planned a variety of drop-in information sessions that you can choose to attend based on your interests including:

  • - International Sessions*
  • - Indigenous Welcome Sessions**
  • - Housing and Transportation Information Sessions
  • - Laptop Readiness Sessions

*International Sessions are compulsory for International Students
