Employer Services Team

The Career Centre’s Employer Services Team provides support to employers seeking to recruit Sheridan students or graduates for full-time, part-time, contract or seasonal employment opportunities, and coordinates programs and services that facilitate active and intentional employer-student connections.

Sandra Yu - Employment Development Specialist

Sandra is a dedicated career development professional with over 11 years of experience and a successful track record of helping thousands of post-secondary students from all year levels and academic disciplines to connect to valuable career information, build professional connections, find meaningful work and launch careers in fields of interest to them.  Known for her creativity, positivity and ability to bring people together, she is continuously looking for ways to increase engagement among employers and job seekers for mutual benefit.  Sandra recently joined Sheridan’s Career Centre and is excited about contributing to the college’s efforts to strengthen ties with the employer community while supporting the employability of Sheridan students.

Susan Montgomery – Employer Services Representative

Susan coordinates Networking Events and Career Fairs providing opportunities to connect Sheridan College graduates with employers recruitment needs. She has an Honours Degree in Psychology from Western University, a Certificate in Human Resources from the University of Toronto, and is currently enrolled in the Career Development Practitioner program at Conestoga College. Susan has previously worked for the Toronto Stock Exchange, CIBC Wood Gundy, Bank of Montreal and Bell Canada.

Dana Lackie – Career Centre Associate

Dana brings to her role of Career Centre Associate over 10 years of experience working directly with employers who are interested in recruiting Sheridan students. Using her extensive knowledge of Sheridan’s academic programs, over the last decade Dana has assisted thousands of employers with successfully marketing their job postings to the appropriate student population.  Dana role includes supporting the programs and initiatives of the Sheridan’s Career Education team while utilizing her exceptional front-line customer service skills to assist students and alumni with accessing the resources and services offered by Sheridan’s Career Centre team.
