Scholarships and Bursaries

Scholarships are merit-based awards that offset tuition expenses for top-performing students. They encourage students to work hard and succeed academically. By supporting scholarships, we can attract the best students to our classrooms, reward academic excellence and create dynamic learning environments.

Bursaries, on the other hand, ease the financial burden on the students who need it most. Research shows that students who work more than 15 hours per week struggle academically.

For other students, sustaining studies alongside a job proves impossible, forcing them to quit school altogether. Bursaries can help them continue to pursue their academic dreams.

Celebrating our donors

Donors are celebrated with a listing in the annual Convocation Guide as well as on the annual donor wall at all Sheridan campuses and on the Sheridan website. Contributions of $1,000 or greater receive a named award posted on the scholarship and bursary opportunities page on the Sheridan website. Donors are informed of the name and brief bio of the student receiving their award.

A tax receipt is issued where allowable.
