Know Your Lemons Breast Cancer Education
Date: Oct. 20, 2021
Time: 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
When it comes to breast health, there’s more to look for than just a lump. Knowing the 12 symptoms of breast cancer can help you be more confident and better understand your own health. Know Your Lemons is a campaign that seeks to educate and advise everyone about early detection and self-awareness.
Join us on Wednesday, October 20 at 8 p.m. to learn about breast health. This event is for everyone: male, female, transgender and non-binary gender family and friends are welcome to join in so they too can learn about breast health, cancer symptoms, risk factors and other important information.
Facilitator: Sheryl Abraham
Our facilitator will be Sheryl Abraham, a trained volunteer with the Know Your Lemons Foundation and a proud Sheridan grad. She works to create awareness about early detection of breast cancer and ensuring breast health. Sheryl completed her Certificate in Human Resource Management through Sheridan’s continuing education program and wants to give back to the College’s students, alumni, faculty, staff, and their friends and family. All are welcome to join this event.
