Enjoy a Sheridan Alumni movie night in the comfort of your own home!

In collaboration with our community partner Oakville Festivals of Film and Art (OFFA), we bring you a film screening of Things I do for Money.

Two Japanese-Canadian cello-playing brothers inadvertently steal a bag of money – and all the woes that go along with it – from a lethal Vancouver hit man. Through a confluence of events and massive bad luck, they also have to save their father’s life, steal an $8 million dollar painting and fight for their lives to get into a prestigious music conservatory. Along the way they discover that everyone has a price and that family never bails on family, no matter the cost.

We are excited to bring back (on Zoom!) three Sheridan grads who worked on the film - Executive Producer Andrew Hunt (Media Arts, 1991), Sound Recordist Spencer Seibert (Bachelor of Film and Television, 2018), and Assistant Stunt Coordinator Erick Fournier (Theatre and Drama Studies, 2009). The trio will participate in a virtual Q&A after the film, along with special guest, Director/Producer, Warren P. Sonoda, and Producer Avi Federgreen.

Pop some popcorn, get comfortable, and enjoy your movie night at home! The link for the film and Q&A will be sent on the morning of February 4.
