Cooperative Education

Your health and wellbeing is our priority. We're advising employers and students to prioritize their health and safety and safeguard the health of our community by complying with the advice being issued by public health officials regarding COVID-19.

Our intent is to support our students so they can earn recognition and credit for their work terms, and we're exploring all options for student success even if their work term has been shortened as a result of COVID-19.

Financial Assistance – Government Resources

The Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario have announced several sources of financial assistance for those facing hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Students can use the Financial Relief Navigator to view a list of emergency benefits and relief supports that they may be eligible for from the government.

Food & Housing – Community Resources

Food and housing security is a challenge for many people during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you need assistance, please reach out to one of these community organizations that offer food or housing assistance.

Sai Dham Food Bank: Open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for in-person pick up. SDFB is committed to provide students with two months of non-perishable food. Food hampers will include 5lbs rice, 5lbs flour, 2-3 lbs assorted lentils, sugar, salt tea, noodles and more. All students and graduates are welcome.

Health Services

The Student Health Centres at the Davis and Trafalgar campuses will continue to provide primary health care services virtually or in person throughout the summer term.

Students may call the Health Centres below to book an appointment.

We are not accepting walk-in appointments, but if you call the Health Centre, we will try our best to fit you in on the same day.

To contact the Health Centre and set up a virtual consultation, please call 905-459-7533, and use the extension number of your respective campus (listed above).

You will need to provide your onecard and health card or Guard.me card anytime you are accessing the Health Centres.

All Health Centre appointments are initially booked virtually. A nurse, nurse practitioner or physician will meet with you by phone and then determine if an in-person evaluation is required.

At both Trafalgar and Davis Campuses, the Health Centre provides services in CLINIC and in a separate location called the “DRIVE THRU” for quicker procedures.

  • Therefore, for all in-person appointments, please contact the Health Centre directly for instructions on how you should access the campus as procedures have changed at both campuses during COVID. Please arrive early and be prepared for extra screening measures.

We offer COVID-19 testing for students if they meet the following criteria: 

  • Symptomatic with COVID-19 symptoms 
  • Close contact with COVID-19 positive individuals
  • International students who require COVID testing for placements.

Covid vaccines are available to all Sheridan College students and employees with a booked appointment.

IT Service Desk

IT Service Desk is available to provide support remotely (phone, chat, email) Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–10 p.m.:

  • For less urgent help, please see our resources on the IT website: it.sheridancollege.ca or you can book an IT service appointment.
  • IT Service counters will not be open for walk-up support; appointments can be made for drop-off and pick-up of IT equipment.

Library & Learning Services

The Library Learning Commons at Davis, HMC, and Trafalgar will be open for in-person support for the following hours starting on March 7, 2022:  

Mon to Fri – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  
Virtual support will be available:  
Mon to Thurs: 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.  
Fri: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  
Sat/Sun: 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  

  • To borrow library items, search our catalogue and place a hold on items you need. Pick up of holds is by curbside pick up only while campus library locations are closed. Please allow 7 days for this service. You’ll receive an email confirming when your hold is ready for pickup with details on how to book your curbside pick up appointment. Drop boxes to return library items are located at the entrances of the Davis (H Wing) and Trafalgar (SCAET) campuses. 
  • Short term loans, including textbooks, are not currently available to students. Textbooks can be purchased at the Sheridan Bookstore.

Digital library materials (e-books, articles/e-journals or databases) are always available 24/7 with your Sheridan credentials. Search the Library to discover all the resources the library has to offer!

If you have questions about doing research, citations, or using library services, our Chat with Us instant messaging service is available during our virtual service hours.


You will be required to present your onecard upon entry to the College and you must have your onecard displayed at all times while on campus. Your onecard is your official photo identification on campus.

Assistance with Course Enrolment and Schedule Questions

  • Have any enrolment or schedule questions? We can help – join our daily interactive Microsoft Teams session hosted by our Records team. The session runs Monday to Friday starting April 13 - May 5, 2022 (from 10am-3pm each day).

To join a session:

  • Go to the Bookings page. You will see availability for up to two days in advance of today’s date.
  • Select a convenient time.
  • Enter your name, Sheridan email address, student ID, and Program name.
  • Your invite will be sent to the email address you provided.
  • Follow the instructions on the invite.
