The James Bailey Architect Endowment for Continuing Education in Architecture

James Bailey Architect, a full-time faculty member in Sheridan’s Architectural Technology program and a Toronto-based architect, has generous created this bursary to support Sheridan graduates wishing to pursue their Professional First Degree in Architecture.

Up to 3 awards of $1,000 - $2,000 each

Criteria:

Graduates of Sheridan’s Architectural Technology program who enroll in a University Professional First Degree in Architecture program (Bachelor of Architecture). A tuition receipt will be required to be presented to the Awards Officer.
  • Students must demonstrate financial need
  • Students must be Ontario Residents
  • Students must demonstrate a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.
  • Student must write a short essay about why they are passionate about the architectural profession and their desire to further their studies in architecture.
Students receiving the bursaries will be eligible to reapply annually for the duration of their enrollment in the University Professional First Degree in Architecture program (Bachelor of Architecture), according to the following criteria:
  • Students must be enrolled in full-time study
  • Students must continue to demonstrate financial need
  • Students must demonstrate a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA
  • Student must provide a short summary of their educational experience during each year of study.
