Congratulations New Sheridan Alumni!

June 28, 2011

Nine outstanding Sheridan alumni shared their unique perspective on the value of a Sheridan education with the 2011 graduating class this month. Thanks to the following alumni who helped make Convocation a memorable event for a record-setting number of new Sheridan graduates.

Shahla Ambreen (Early Childhood Education – Intensive ’99), Crystal Bennett (Business Administration - Marketing ’10), Charles Fraresso (Architectural Technology ’94), Nancy Geogan (Practical Nursing ’10 and Personal Support Worker ’06), Meghan Hall (Applied Photography ’07), David Mader (Community Worker-Outreach and Development ’04), Pierre Poussin (Crafts and Design – Furniture ’06), Cory Ridout (Police Foundations ’06), Lori Robinson (Business Administration - Marketing ’82).

Over the course of four days and ten ceremonies this week, 7,100 graduates crossed the stage at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, en route to launching their careers. The number of graduates is almost 2,000 higher than in 2010, reflecting the significant growth in enrolment that Sheridan has experienced in recent years.
