May 08, 2018

Sheridan’s former music theatre students are showcasing their talents at this summer’s Shaw Festival.
A half-dozen Sheridan alumni are performing in The Magician’s Nephew, which opened the 2018 season on the Festival Theatre Stage.
Taking place 1,000 years before The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Magician’s Nephew follows two children who find themselves traveling via “the wood between the worlds.”
Additional alumni are performing in productions including Of Marriage & Men and Henry V. Cameron Grant (Theatre and Drama Studies ’16) and Madelyn R. Kriese (Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance ’17) will perform at this year’s festival for the first time, while Kelly M. Wong (Music Theatre – Performance ’07) returns for this tenth season.
The Shaw Festival, which funs from April 4 to Oct. 28, is inspired by the spirit of playwright George Bernard Shaw.
