Sheridan’s Problem Solving Living Laboratory

Location HMC - 4180 Duke of York Blvd, Mississauga, Ontario, L5B 0G5

Bring your challenge to our creative problem-solving living laboratory!

WHAT:
Do you have a business/professional challenge or opportunity that you are struggling with and looking for potential solutions? Sheridan is looking for volunteer ‘clients’ to bring their challenge to their workshop teams (teams of Sheridan staff) who will gain practice putting their new creative problem solving skills to work in a facilitated living laboratory environment, and YOU will reap the benefit! (No preparation is required on your part other than being able to state your challenge situation and meet with a small group on a very informal basis to discuss your challenge.)

WHO:
‘Clients’ can be anyone who:
- is the problem owner (i.e., you are the decision maker)
- is looking for new thinking (i.e., you do not already have the solution or answer in mind)
- is motivated to work on resolving the issue

WHEN:
We are looking for volunteer ‘clients’ with challenges who are available to meet with our creative problem solving team for an information gathering session at the end of the day on Tuesday, May 2nd (3:30 to 5:00) and again for a 1.5 hour time slot during the day on Wednesday, May 3rd (9:00 am – 10:30 am, or 10:30 am to 12:00, or 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm). Each volunteer client is required to attend both the Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday (time options) sessions.

WHERE:
Sheridan College Hazel McCallion Campus in Mississauga
