It's About the Fit! A workshop for Millennials

Time 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location HMC - 4180 Duke of York Blvd, Mississauga, Room: B298

“Executives tell us purpose is the key to accelerating your growth and deepening your impact, in both your professional and personal lives. Indeed, we believe that the process of articulating your purpose and finding the courage to live it—what we call purpose to impact—is the single most important developmental task you can undertake.” (Nick Craig, Scott Snook, Harvard Business Review, May 2014)

Peter Bouffard, Professor of Leadership and Creativity in the Pilon School of Business is offering a one day workshop entitled ‘It’s About the Fit’. A program to help Millennials identify and get the job that is the right fit for who they are. This workshop is for graduates who:
  • Are currently unemployed or underemployed and are looking for a career position
  • Graduated in 2016 or 2017
  • Want to work in an organization that shares their sense of purpose, values and passion
  • Are willing to invest the energy in a workshop program to help them achieve the foregoing
Briefly, in taking this workshop you will:
  • Have a deeper understanding of who you are and what really matters to you. You will gain a new clarity of your authentic self;
  • Be able to better identify those organizations and jobs that are the best fit for who you are thereby increasing your chances of career success; and
  • Create a unique point of differentiation among other candidates in the job search process.
