Located in the picturesque lakeside town of Oakville, our Trafalgar Road Campus is home to our Faculty of Animation, Arts & Design, as well as a number of programs in science, technology, health and community studies. Bright and welcoming, our Hazel McCallion Campus (HMC) is home to the Pilon School of Business. The campus is tucked right in the heart of Canada’s sixth-largest city, and is home to a 70,000-square-foot student and athletics building, the Institute for Creativity, and the EDGE entrepreneurial hub.

Sheridan has a reputation for pioneering new technologies and programs. This spirit led to the creation of our five Research and Incubation Centres, where students, industry, community, government and faculty collaborate to advance knowledge and solve problems.

Comedian and podcaster Ali Hassan was recently able to experience the innovations to come from Sheridan’s Centre for Advanced Manufacturing Design Technologies (CAMDT) first-hand. Sheridan students have played an active role in much of the extraordinary work to come from CAMDT, from 3D-printed Personal Protective equipment to AI-powered virtual assistants. As Ali says: Great things happen at CAMDT.

We continue to take actionable steps such as required anti-oppression, anti-racism and unconscious bias training, hiring BIPOC faculty, creating bursaries for Black students and intentionally engaging racialized community members to inform our future actions and assess our efficacy.
