Course Description:
Exploring Information Technology
Students gain a hands-on perspective of the ever changing computer industry, by performing a variety of different basic tasks. The tasks performed include building a computer, designing a database, writing a computer program, developing a web page, configuring a smartphone interface, and creating a smartphone application. In each of the information technology areas covered, students learn very basic theory, and then, in a group lab setting, create a simple application of that theory.
