Lorraine Stramba


Lorraine Stramba is a professor in the Academic Upgrading Program, Communications, at the Davis campus. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, a TESL certificate from the University of Toronto, a Master of Arts in Adult Education from Central Michigan University, and an eLearning, Teaching and Training with Technology certificate from Seneca. She began her second career, in education, in 1999 at Humber College, teaching ESL, Communications, and Generic Skills courses. She has developed numerous curricula for the college and private sectors and actively participates in curriculum and resource development for the Communications Upgrading Program at Sheridan.  Her most recent publication is Servant leadership practices.  (2003). The Community College Enterprise: a Journal of Research & Practice, 9(2), 103-113. She is a passionate educator who believes in empowering students with the skills and strategies to promote their growth and wellbeing. She is also an avid fabric artist and dog-lover.
