Kamilla  Petrick


Dr. Kamilla Petrick is Professor of Politics in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds a doctorate in Political Science from York University and two prior degrees in Media Studies from the University of Western Ontario. Kamilla's research interests include critical political economy, social movements and collective action, time and temporality, collective memory, and the role of technology in social transformation. Her work has been published inFast Capitalism,Time & Society,Studies in Social Justice,Globalizations, andConvergence: The International Journal of Research Into New Media Technologies.As an educator, Kamilla aims to empower her students to respond creatively to challenges both in the workplace as well as the world-at-large.
