John is a well-regarded business development and client services leader within the Data Analytics industry.  After graduating from York University in 2000 with a BAS in marketing, John spent eight years in the retail industry.

At Loblaw, he worked across a number of retail banners such as No Frills and Your Independent Grocer, developing their General Merchandise businesses.  By 2006, John was Category Manager at Loblaw overseeing their Cough, Cold and Analgesics category, a $400 million per year business.  Through 2007, John worked as a Buyer at Shoppers Drug Mart, importing over $100 million per annum in confectionary, toys and stationery products.

By 2008, John had shifted into the Data Analytics industry, by accepting a role at Nielsen, the leading Consumer Packaged Goods research organization in Canada.  At Nielsen, John honed his skills in specialized analytics in pricing, promotion and assortment management.  Subsequently, he led PepsiCo Beverage’s Category Management team before landing at Precima in 2010, as Associate Director of Client Service.

Today, John splits his time between Toronto and Chicago Illinois, where his client, US Foods is located.  John has helped US Foods monetize their vendor data-sharing program, a first of its kind endeavour in the food service industry.  He manages a team of cross-border professionals in both Operations and Client Service.

John holds an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and is also a Certified Management Accountant.  In September of 2010, John joined Sheridan College as a part-time faculty member. He has taught both Business Math and Business Communication.
