Joe Musicco

Joe Musicco

Professor, Advertising & Marketing/Bachelor of Business Administration

Joe Musicco holds a B.A. (Hons) from the University of Western Ontario, and a Master of Design in Advertising from OCAD University in Toronto. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) at Athabasca University.

As a former Creative Director at renowned Canadian advertising agencies like Bensimon Byrne, McCann Worldwide, and tech start-up Kobo, Joe wrote and created award-winning ad campaigns for international clients such as Molson, Hyundai, Samsung, Xbox, Honda, Loblaws, and General Motors.

A featured speaker at events in Canada and abroad, Joe’s research and expertise is focused on branding, creativity, storytelling, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. He has spoken extensively at industry events and educational forums like the Lilly Conferences on Teaching and Learning in Washington, Anaheim, Austin and San Diego, as well as the D2L Fusion EdTech conference in Orlando.

Joe is a passionate advocate for the power of curiosity, the importance of creativity, and the value of lifelong learning.
