Fred Koch

Professor, Business Law

Fred was called to the Ontario Bar in 1987 and for a number of years practiced commercial litigation law with a large multi-national Canadian law firm, spending the last five years as a partner of the firm.  Subsequently, he obtained an LL.M. in commercial law from the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. in evidence law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in Toronto.  Fred will be receiving a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Waterloo in the fall of 2013.   Since 2006 Fred has been a full-time professor in the Faculty of Business developing and/or delivering a number of courses in diploma and degree programs dealing with law and ethics, including courses in the Human Resource Management, Accounting, International Business, and Global Business Management programs.
