Edward Marinos

Professor, Human Resources

Edward began his career as an elementary and high school teacher. After completing his MEd in Adult Education he moved into the business world working in Organizational Development and Learning & Development roles for the Toronto Transit Commission, Canadian Tire, the Ministry of the Environment, ZENON Environmental, General Electric and recently with Rexall-Pharma Plus Drug stores as the Senior Director of L&D.

Edward completed his PhD in Education with a specialization in Organizational Learning where he developed and validated a competency-based teaching and learning model dedicated to Trainers, HR professionals, Subject-Matter-Experts and College Instructors. He has taught at Centennial College, Humber College, OISE UofT and the Schulich School of Business over the past fourteen years.

Edward and his wife live in Toronto and have two young boys.  As a former baseball player of twenty years and competitive runner he enjoys working out daily and when spare time is available, is writing his first book and works on and restores classic cars.
