Cybersecurity Symposium

Time 12:00 PM - 4:45 PM

Location HMC - A 145 - Main lecture hall off main hallway

This half-day symposium will provide an objective executive briefing on cyber security and how it is dramatically affecting Canada’s business climate.

Targeted to executives and senior managers in Supply Chain, Retail, Insurance, Manufacturing and Government Services who have an interest in learning more about why and how to protect valuable data in your back-end systems from the very real and growing threat of cyber crime.

This engaging and interactive symposium aims to help participants understand the various roles, risks and actors on this stage; the impact of cloud computing; and, especially – how to prevent, manage and contain the risks. These sessions build on the outcomes of a high-demand cyber crime panel discussion Sheridan presented at the 2014 International Supply Chain Conference in Toronto.

This important May 6th Sheridan Cyber Security Symposium is hosted by the Sheridan College Faculty of Applied Science and Technology, Pilon School of Business and Sheridan Undergraduate Research (SURe).
