Zahid Kamal

Zahid Kamal

Professor, School of Applied Computing

Zahid Kamal is a global information architect at Vale Canada, a mining conglomerate. He has worked on a wide variety of projects in the areas of information management, data warehousing, data integration, and master data management.

He holds a MA and a MBA degree from the Wright State University, majoring in management information systems.

Zahid has also worked for CIBC, and for Ethicon Endo Surgery (J&J), and founded a Toronto-based data modelling user group for local CA-ERWin users. He is also a founding member of The Data Warehouse Institute (TDWI) – Toronto chapter.

Zahid joined Sheridan in May 2013, where he teaches database and business software courses.

He lives in Mississauga, Ontario with his lovely family.
