Terry Davison

Terry Davison

Professor, School of Applied Chemical and Environmental Sciences

Terry Davison is a chemical engineer with experience in the nuclear generation, mining, metal refining and fertilizer industries. Prior to joining Sheridan, he was a faculty member at Mohawk College. He has been a faculty member at Sheridan since 1984, and has taught a wide range of courses, primarily in the areas of chemical engineering and chemistry, but also in mathematics and physics.

Terry has been with Sheridan since 1989 and has been an Academic Adviser and Program Coordinator of the School of Applied Chemical and Environmental Sciences. He serves on the Academic Council and College Council, and is chair of the Academic Advisement Task Force. He is also a Sheridan representative on the Central Region Technology Alignment Project and the provincial programme standard pilot project. 

Terry has been a registered professional engineer (APEGA) and is currently a certified engineering technologist (OACETT). Outside of Sheridan, Terry has served on the examinations and admissions committees of OACETT. He has given presentations at the annual conferences of the Science Teachers Association of Ontario and the Ontario Colleges Mathematics Association.

Terry’s academic interests lie in applied physical chemistry, particularly the kinetics of heterogeneous systems, and the analysis of operating processes.
