Tasneem Zaman

Tasneem Zaman

Professor, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology

Tasneem Zaman completed her BSc and MASc in mechanical engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and McMaster University, respectively.

After graduation, she worked as a researcher at McMaster Health Sciences in the area of biomedical signal processing and mapping of gastro-intestinal systems. In 2010, she joined Chrysler Automotive Research and Development Centre in Windsor, ON as a finite element analyst.

Her areas of expertise are modelling and simulation on sheet metal forming, motility mapping and signal processing, and finite element analysis.

Tasneem joined Sheridan College in 2014 as a part-time faculty member in the Mechanical Engineering Technology program, and currently teaches applied mechanics courses and labs.
